Position Summary – Plant Outage Coordinator
The Plant Outage Coordinator is responsible for leading outage planning, material acquisitions, contractor management, coordination, leadership, and oversite for the location. This position focuses on planning, coordinating, purchasing, leading and execution of all plant outages including but not limited to: Kilns, Quarry operations, and loadouts and all equipment associated. Responsible for integrating all departments to enhance outage execution and delivery. Responsible for assessing the quality, robustness, and effectiveness of outage execution through KPI’s and given metrics. Will provide guidance in making decisions to improve process equipment as needed. Responsible for ensuring asset health management system is accurate and maintained. This position will work and partner with other groups and report to the Reliability Manager.

• Use the RCA/Correction action program for improved equipment reliability.
• Participate in the development of process documentation on maintenance jobs/tasks.
• Review all existing master job procedures on a regular basis and ensure that they are up to date and contain all pertinent information.
• Involvement and coordination with all departments: planning, reliability, maintenance, electrical, dust, pm, labor, vac truck, rotary, loadouts, purchasing, and warehouse.
• Develop standard outage pre/post inspection procedures to ensure that proper actions are being taken to maintain plant equipment and to keep the equipment in good working condition.
• Participate, use, and support the maintenance work order system for continued growth and development.
• Use KPI/Metrics for process measurement of outage timeliness and effectiveness.
• Work with the maintenance planner on coordination of planned work for outages.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling to promote department efficiency.

• Ability to work some off shifts and weekends.
• Supervision in a union environment is desirable.

Minimum Education and Experience
• Related college degree preferred and 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance project oversight
• Mechanical aptitude and process equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Microsoft/ERP proficient.
• Advanced computer skills for reporting, information transfer, and analysis are preferred.
